The text on the photo primes one to think that they're kava plants and the low resolution hides the detail in the leaves that would give it away. I think they're some variety of cucurbit.
I did some quick searching and it looks like the original pic was posted by someone in Thailand.
I noticed some really look like cucurbit, but I thought the first row at right (only 2 rows!) does look like some kava plants there, but I could be wrong.
Many years ago the sugar company here decided to plant kava on a 20 acre parcel. One day while driving nearby I saw "Kava plants" ... when I stopped and got out, it was a field of young cucumber plants!
