Kava stains (yes that's stains, not strains)

Does anyone else have this problem ?
Kava leaving stains that are hard to get rid of, like on a shaker bottle that you use, for example ?
They're really stubborn, so much that even scrubbing hard with a brittle sponge and dish liquid hardly gets rid of it.
Any ideas on dealing with it ?

Isopropyl alcohol will usually eat right through it. Just use some sort of mechanical action like soaking a paper towel and wiping it out.
