I just called them. You may have just saved my life. I looked at their menu once....didnt see it.....moved on. I called out of desperation and they have kava teas. They wont sell powder they said but they use Fijian which is my preference anyway. Will try and report back. Still willing to buy...

As the title says. Amazon royal screwed me. Lost my package. Didnt get her last night when it was supposed to and now they're saying not today either. My anxiety is through the roof. Does anyone know anywhere in Pittsburgh I can buy Kava??? Is anyone local I'll give you cash.

So after a half pound bag, I've decided that there was enough consistent nausea while shelling that it wasnt a fluke. Why? No idea. That first headache did not repeat itself but the nausea was worse than any root I've ever tried. Doable....but hard to manage. It's a decent root. But I'm back...

I would suggest taking a week off. But that's me. I'm an abuser. Anything that feels good....I take to the extreme. So for me taking a break is good. If that's not you.....no reason not to shell away!!

Yeah the taste, while fairly mild, is truly awful. I really thought it was just me remembering a similar flavor from starwest which is the worst crap I've ever ingested. But yes....it COULD almost be soapy. I feel like it's a sick sweetness. But I am shelling it again tonight and I am growing...

And all good this morning aside from tiredness which is due to ke staying up too late. I give it a thumbs up.

So far so good. Feeling good and zero sign of nausea or headache.

Giving it another shot tonight. Just downed the first shell. Hopefully the first time was a fluke. Cant afford a headache tomorrow.

Perhaps. It was bad. Really bad. Puked up the water and tylenol I took to get rid of the headache. I really dont want to think it was the kava....but wow. I shell like a maniac and I've just never had a morning like this.

So I've gotta give an update. Woke up this morning to a bad headache and the worst nausea I've ever had the next day. Was it a fluke? Perhaps. But I find it a lot to be a coincidence. I'll be giving it one more shot. Hopefully it doesnt happen again. If it does.... man.

After quite a few more - the nausea is there but not as bad as some others seem to have mentioned. Just dont like this taste. Well on my way to krunked, would drink again.

I should also mention I made this batch quite weak...not knowing what to expect I usually take it easy on a new strain.
