Yes very strong kava. Low dose is better. Higher doses actually has a very sedating effect on me after the initial wallop. I found it to be really good blended with Dua Na Bilo! 1:1.

Just throwing this out there, could be a serotonin syndrome type effect. Kava does have some MAOI activity and based on your genetics you could be having some type of gene/drug interaction. Check out the symptoms on this link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serotonin_syndrome

See, luckily, I have very low stress already. So heavy kavas are not much fun for me. But this MeloMelo just gives me a very relaxed chill evening. Similar to the ol Dua Na Bilo but with more relaxation. Just a nice kava hug. I like it and wish it was something I could get on a regular basis.

Me too, I got mine. Why can’t they grow MeloMelo on a different island? Is it’s microclimate or something? I find that strange that MeloMelo is isolated to this one active volcanic island.

Mahakea is my goto balanced kava, I also find Papa Ele Ele fairly balanced. Another good balanced daytime kava is 24 Wave.

Haha rub some instant Moi kava on your gums next time. Good idea, why didn’t I think of that, I was just at the dentist recently. It’s usually not painful because I have never had a cavity, but those scrapers can be annoying on the gums! Especially the ultra sonic thing they use now-a-days.

I noticed it said 200 kavalactones under the 500 mg extract. That’s not that many unless you mean 200mg. Haha just nit picking but maybe something to change on the next label run. Best of luck to you!

Thanks! Sounds like a Borogu divergence to me. Yeah Solomon Island kava from N@H is heady-wired overkill, I still have the half pound. Sometimes I will mix it in with others to wake me up during the day. It’s like a strong coffee. Gives me the jitters. Great information.
