What is going on with KWK package delays?

I ordered a pound of borongoru from KWK back on February 14th. The shipping status still says “pending acceptance” and it’s stuck in Billings, Montana. Anyone else having this issue? I emailed the company and haven’t heard back yet. Also reached out to the post office but they couldn’t tell me...

Most sessions not enjoyable - anyone else have the same experience?

I initially felt almost nothing from kava. Things that helped me: - Spacing my doses. I used to try and drink all my kava in a 30 minute time span. I figured that, similar to most other substances, more kava in less time should = better effects. Oddly, this isn’t the case with kava. Many...

    Does Kava "find you"

A series of LSD trips over 3 years ago shook my life up pretty hard (both in a good way, and a bad way). LSD gave me this feeling of curiosity, creativity, and awe towards the world around me. The downside is the fact that LSD is so strong and can easily cause some awful trips. I found Kava...

Everyone's current favorite kava and the effects it gives you

Nambawan from BKH. Sadly can’t get any right now :( It relaxes me but gives me this body wide feeling of calmness and contentment. Like everything is gonna be ok. Despite the current chaos in the world.

Anyone ever get feelings of both immense sadness AND happiness when drinking Kava?

How can I describe it... That feeling when you're on vacation and you're looking over a beautiful mountain range in the Colorado Rockies. You're just filled with this blissful peace, the calmness, the beauty of it all, and the vastness of nature. But at the same you remember that beyond this...

    Nambawan Kava/ what to expect?

I’m an experienced kavaseur (3 years). This new batch of nambawan took me by surprise though. Just finished 8 tablespoons kneaded in two cups of water. I’m not sure how to describe it. It’s a very nice feeling. Unlike any other kava I’ve tried. Definitely has less of an edge than Nangol. Nangol...

Nangol or Nambawan for Near Years Party?

Well, Nambawan flattened me. This new batch is ridiculously strong. I just wanted to sink into the couch after the first sip. Socializing was the last thing on my mind. I added in some Nangol and that provided a nice euphoria boost that seemed to counteract the tiring effects of the Nambawan...

Nangol or Nambawan for Near Years Party?

Awesome, thanks! Just finished mixing up a batch. Will report back tomorrow.

Nangol or Nambawan for Near Years Party?

I’ve got a New Years Eve Party in 4 hours. I’ve got Nangol and nambawan on hand. Nangol gets me pretty euphoric, but it makes me want to just lay outside and just look at the stars. Being around people is hard for me on Nangol. I haven’t had Nambawan for over a year, and I’ve forgotten what it...

Kava and pain medication...reason for worry?

I hurt my knee pretty bad today and had to visit the ER. They gave me some weak Codeine/Tylenol combo to hold me over until I see an ortho. I took the pill at 6 and waited until 11 to drink my Kava. Even 5 hours after my medication, I’m feeling the kava way more than usual. I tend to be a bit...

How far do you space your shells?

This just furthers my belief that Kava is really a special substance. Like you, I’ve noticed that spacing my shells does seem to increase the strength of the effects somewhat. Makes no sense as no other substance I’ve ever taken reacts like this.

    Has Kava affected your sociability?

I’ve had the same experience. Every friend I’ve tried to convert to Kava is to repulsed by the taste and nausea to give it a chance. Ironic considering I’m known among my friends/family for having a weak stomach. Secretly, it makes me happy though. I feel like I’m enjoying something really...

    Potentiates

This has probably already been mentioned, but hot milk does it for me. Used to be hot food, but for some reason kava obliterates my appetite as of late.

Listening to kava outside, at night

Kava and nature go together perfectly. Nothing like a starry night in my backyard with a strong grog and some calming music. It’s really a spiritual experience. And I’m never spiritual.

How far do you space your shells?

As a former alcoholic, I think I’ve been disrespecting the kava. I tend to slam down multiple shells within a 20 minute period, similar to my previous drinking habits. I’m beginning to think this fast-paced kava consumption is to blame for the anxiety and nausea I’ve gotten during several recent...

How is the current melo and nangol?

Unfortunately I’ve found the same to be true. Especially the teeth grinding. I can only drink Nangol when I’m in a very calm, non-stimulating environment. Like sitting in my backyard staring at the stars with music playing. Definitely can’t socialize on this stuff. It comes with a kick. I’ve...

    Thoughts on Nangol Noble?

Nangol is strong. Very strong. Strongest I've ever tried, in fact. I haven't touched it for about 2 months. While most of my experiences have been good, my last session with nangol was pretty rough. The euphoria was so strong that it sent me into a panic attack. I know it sounds utterly...

How is the current melo and nangol?

Melo Melo is next in my list to try. However, Nangol is my favorite Kava of all time thus far. Hits me extremely hard and leaves in a very euphoric, introspective, loving state of mind every time. I would almost call it a spiritual headspace. I can’t wait for them to restock it. I’ve only got...

    Needing 14-16 tbsp/session?

I’m a 6 ft 8, 220 lb male. It takes me 14-16 tablespoons of strained Kava tea to feel anything. Does anyone else experience this? Seems like most people do fine with 4-8 tablespoons. I’m not sure what I could be doing wrong... -I drink Kava on an empty stomach (4 hours at least no food) -I...

    Powdered Kava Review Nangol Noble

As a former LSD user, this is the closest legal alternative I’ve found for creating an introspective, spiritual headspace. It’s wonderful. Almost overwhelming. The best way I can describe it is a mix of euphoria, inner peace, and gratitude for life. It causes all the stress and daily BS to...
