I am tring to determine what's going be better for a Christmas party either Pacific roots green kava or ROH fresh frozen kava

If you're sharing and it'll be a big group I suggest the ROH Fresh Frozen. If your guests are limited, go with the Pacific roots green kava. The communal aspect of making kava from fresh will be more authentic, however the bottled root will likely be more effective if you're looking to introduce anyone to kava for the first time.

Which current cultivar is the most potent? I like the Hanakapi'ai. Right now they also have nene, mahakea, hiwa and ? Mo'oula (which I never heard of). Here is the link: https://rootofhappinesskava.com/products/fresh-frozen-kava-1lb

'Awa Grower/Collector
Mo'oula is AKA Honokane Iki. It is so place-named after the Moloka'i waterfall where some of the folks collected it on the east end.
As I have grown other Hawaiian cultivars over the years I've seen Mapulehu mutate to Honokane Iki.
There is an old Hawaiian chant describing " 'awa pairings" .
One of these days I'll write up a collection of somatic mutation observations I've made growing 'awa
