So this worked better than I thought it would. I did this a bit island style and didn't even measure the liquid, just went by eye and threw in 5 aluballs with about 10g each (to keep the liquid circulation good) of Koro Island then shook it all up. The first shell was about perfect and I'll keep going until the liquid is gone and maybe try and wash it all again if I don't get my regular 4 or 5 shells out of it.
