So yeah....my woman doesn't like me drinking certain Kava as it tends to make me not interested in her, so rather than tell her it's that not the kava it's her I am being forced to switch to different kava or lose me man bits. So are there any kava out there that are a little more on the spanish fly side?

Lol my S.O. has voiced similar complaints.

I find lighter color, headier kavas like Moi, and Tongan varieties don't leave me ....eerrr.... Uninterested.... For as long after drinking. Even once I'm aroused, I think all kavas make me.... Uhh... a bit more "efficient" than my partner would prefer.

In small enough doses, I find kava acts as an aphrodisiac. I just usually end up getting too krunk.

Complaints? That's what my partner likes about it. But yeah, grog tends to make sitting there listening to the kava more appealing than anything else, but I find if I wind down my shelling session with a TBS or two of KWK concentrate, that effect is gone and I'm back to my usual legendary self and in no time at all she's suggesting I have more grog. The concentrate seem to have no effect on sex or is if anything a mild aphrodisiac, but it also seems to kill the sex-negating effects of the grog. For us, anyway.

I cant find the links, but there were some post here about kava and sex. It seems to make men less interested, but women tend to find it easier to peak. As for me and my wife, I can say it does help her hit the umm high mark faster and easier; however, it doesn't really have an effect on me for good or bad. That being said the sack is a bit more interesting when she gets a lil krunk.

I find the effects usually show up more the next day, but it really hasn't made much of a difference to us one way or the other. We're basically rutting animals and wild horses couldn't stop that. We like each other a lot.

It's not kava, but you should try an herb called "Tongkat Ali". It's basically natures viagra. Like kava the medicinal properties are in the root which you can get in powdered form that you can simply add to water and drink. It tastes like bitter peanut butter.

Some members will recall that I had issues with my, er, member recently... I have no clear idea as to whether it was due to kava or not but I do regularly drink at least 3 to 6 tbsps of kava depending on the type and the day and I prefer heavy kava. Maybe related or maybe not but I am getting towards my mid 40's so could easily be a number of causes.

Anyway... if any other gentlemen here experience similar problems I can recommend ginseng, l citrulline and horny goat weed in combination. Consider Testosterone boosters but get one with a good rating on Amazon. Other than that I have found diet, exercise and proper sleep to really help a lot. I'm not quite back up to my mid 20's peak but not far off and improving all the time so I'm very happy.

I recently was having this same problem after over a year of kava. I took a break from the kava for about three weeks and started using horny goat weed, maca root and ashwagandha. This combo works good. However, last night, as things seemed to be back to normal, I decided to try some Pouni Ono. I never really liked the headier strains, but as was mentioned in these forums elsewhere, it seems that maybe the heavier strains are the ones to cause more of a problem. So I decided to give this another try. I liked it, all was good, but today I woke up with hives, and red swollen face. I never had this reaction before, I'm hoping it was because of these other supplements. I really worried, seems I can't win. I love Kava because it helped me give up alcohol. Whenever I do have a drink now, I don't enjoy it like I used to, I rather stick to kava. But I can't be having low libido, that is out for me. Now it seems I can't take these suppliments or maybe I am allergic to the headier strains? I remember trying Moi awhile back, and although the reaction wasn't this strong, my face did get a little flush and red the next day. Today, I look ridiculous, a little oompa loompa-ish. I hope this clears up soon... and I'm worried I won't be able to strike the right balance with Kava...Any feedback or words of wisdom would be appreciated.

I have a strong feeling that the only supplements that are really essential are B vitamins and zinc as they are flushed out by increased liquid intake. I doubt the reaction is to do with the supplements but I don't know. I sometimes get "asian flush" if I drink alcohol the day after kava but never have a problem drinking kava the day after alcohol unless I'm too dehydrated still. I would say let this episode settle down and try again with a different kava. Not that there's anything wrong with Pouni Ono as such but it could just be your reaction to it on that occasion.

Thanks for that advice and sorry to bring up this subject, I'm just really glad for this forum that this can be discussed frankly. Are those the only supplements your are currently taking now and they are working? No more ginseng, l citrulline, horny goat weed or Testosterone boosters?

I'm still taking a few of the others but I'm convinced it's only the other two that are absolutely necessary. The others can't hurt I suppose.
