Big fan of plain old tap water here. Sometimes I'll get fancy and have kombucha or mint tea.

Just adjust your water intake to keep up with your kava intake. More fresh water flowing through your bod keeps the kidneys and urinary tract healthy.

It’s surprisingly difficult sometimes to get the right amount especially in the summertime. I struggled for weeks with dehydration, then was over hydrated for awhile which can be just as uncomfortable where your bladder and kidneys are concerned. The chart is helpful. I feel sometimes doctors advise patients to drink more water with reckless abandon and that’s really not the right way to do it.

We use a Brita pitcher out here because the water is so hard. I keep it on the counter top. Room temperature just feels better on my body. Much easier to add ice for the kids or guests than to wait for an ice cold glass of water from the refrigerator to be less...invasive feeling?
