Do Kava Brownies Work?

In the past, I had read that heat kills kavalactones, so I'm a bit wary of making something like this and ruining the kava I have (especially if I use instant). Do ingestion methods like this actually work even after cooking? Any ideas about potency?

To some degree I suppose. I think, you should make up a batch, and post what they look like. Also we are going to need a review. Anyways, Im sure someone has tried them on here. I think, @violet , has tried her hand, at baking Kava. maybe she may know, more, if she is around. Much Love Roaddog....

Kristy's fudge recipe was good: http://kavaforums.com/forum/threads/kava-freezer-fudge.2486/ I never ate it as an approach to a session, but it was a nice little treat.

Indeed Kava can be made into Brownies as I used to make some for my Dad(with special green butter)years ago for Sciatica. I simply added floured Kava to the mix before baking.
I tried one and my mouth went numb so there are still actives after baking. Suffice to say,for pain related sleep problems were gone

@Roaddog eew, nope that wasn't me. I dabbled with mixing some drink recipes, but for me anything mixed with kava just makes a larger quantity of kava tasting foulness that I need to consume
