I've found it to last about a day before it starts to taste increasingly foul, but that wasn't refrigerated. If you're thinking of trying to make it last more than that, I might recommend (although I haven't tried it) to freeze it.

Exactly my experience. I once traveled with some in a thermos in a car and after like 24 hours it was noticeably grosser - like, it took on a ferment-y tang.
