How to get kava into Australia

hi, I’m new to the whole kava scene and I am wondering if you guys can help me. I went to the markets at denarau and brought some really strong kava but it cane in a paper bag with staples in it instead of the type of bags that kava is sold in online and at tourist stores and I do t know if I will be able to get it through customs at Sydney airport because of the strict rules. Anyone have any experience with bringing kava into Australia in an unsealed bag?

Btw Australia has an exemption allowing you to bring In up to 2 kg of kava in your luggage
