Kava? Yes please!
My reasoning is that I don't like to use detergents, which might leave a residue, on a device that never really gets "dirty" (no food particles to rot or fester).
I always decant my kava right after I make it, then just rinse the Aluball out really well and leave it to dry on the dish rack.
After 3 years it still looks perfectly clean, but am I exposing myself to "deadly bacterias"? I assume not since I have been drinking kava like this for 3 years, but sometimes I wonder.
Also, after 8 years of using an Aluball, I just now realized that the Alub in Aluball is BULA spelled backwards...
Have a relaxing Saturday, fam
