Apparently, Kava prices have risen sharply in the last two years. It could have been through the churagans that passed over Oceania 2 years ago. You think there is a chance that Kava prices will return to their former prices and they will happen

I do think kava will return to a lower price point. Vanuatu has been on what I can only see as a full on mission to encourage planting of noble kavas. It seems like every other post by the Department of Agriculture is of another farmer planting more kava. I don't see it as being a steep drop because kava bars continue to rise in popularity across the United States. That demand will continue to strengthen, and I think will be outpaced by supply which I believe will lower the prices a bit.

I doubt nominal prices will drop significantly. But they seem to have stopped growing so in real terms kava is getting slightly cheaper.

The prices that we saw 10 years ago etc were abnormal. They were cheap because ppl had planted a lot and then the market collapsed. But they were not sustainable.
