Greetings everyone!
Long time lurker first time poster.

Years ago I started making kava as a wonderful replacement for my daily drinking habits. I slipped back into the darkside for a little bit but am happy to say I am now back to a happy natural lifestyle.

I know a lot of people pre-make their kava and some store in 16oz sealed bottles. I'm sure if I made a large batch, it wouldn't last very long... just curious if anyone knew how long a small sealed batch would last in the fridge.

A sealed batch will last about 3-5 days in the fridge. An open batch will start tasting rather strange on day 2 but it's still drinkable. You can actually freeze kava after preparation for later consumption and it works just as well

I've kept kava in a stainless steel water bottle in the fridge for a week with no problems. As @Kapmcrunk
said, the taste will change (it actually gets milder) but the effects don't change.

I'd say if you need to keep it more than a week, freeze it.
