After a long looong day. And you need a bit of cheering up

If you only had the choice of the Following:

Vanuatu Kava Root Borongoru
Vanuatu Kava Root Borogu
11 year old Waka
Taveuni Waka Kava
Loa Waka
Vula Waka

Which would you choose? (I'd love your suggestions as I have had a crappy day and need a bit of cheer, thanks :) )

I found vula balanced to heavy no euphoria
What I did this evening was mix up a generous serving of 11 year old waka then I followed it with Vula Waka, which I think balanced the effects.
(Though my tummy was saying I need less 11 year old Waka next time.)
I did add a spoon of Borongoru it to the second wash of Vula.
It's good to know Vula is towards the balanced and heavy side. I look forward to trying it by itself.
I felt today called for suggestions, I am so glad I asked. :)

I'm confused by the premise... why would you only have those kavas to hand? ;-)

11 yr knocks me out good and I have to be careful how much I drink. Of the others I only really like borogu and vula waka, both of which are solid evening kavas.

Heh! The premise was somewhat loaded to aid my Kava choice, as those are the ones I had... But you knew that! :D
I am having Borogu instant in chocolate milk at present, it's very nice. I feel like I have won something! :)

Yes I guessed that but was being playful :)

I find a lot of Fijians are almost chocolatey as it is but that sounds like a nice mix.

I am slowly become a little more discerning with how different Kavas taste.
So far it's blech , ick and less ick. : )
I reckon I have a long way to go before I have such a refined palate as yours.
To be able to taste it properly would be cool. It doesn't bother me too much, it's just getting used to it.

I can tell a borogu from a hawaiian from a tongan from a fijian. That's just practice though, not so sure about refinement ;-) . I do actually like the taste of kava now, I know it sounds a bit odd. I do struggle to drink it because of the strength I mix it but I prefer less liquid. The actual taste itself though is fine.
