Sunflower Lecithin

Is there death before life?
Im not a huge fan of Soy, or how its made.
And Ive never used the Soy Lecithin in my Kava, but would like to try an emulsifier.
Anyone have ideas on Sunflower Lecithin as the emulsifier?

BULA!
If it's a lipid (which it sounds like it must be) then it should work well. I think the real issue is polarity (ie. the kavalactones are best "extracted" with nonpolar substances rather than water).

Also I believe paradise kava uses sunflower lecithin in their extract as an emulsifier.

Well, heres is the logic to my thinking.
Its healthier then Soy, first and formost.

The Phosphatidylcholine that is in Sunflower Lecithin has not only showed to have liver repairing potential, but also shown to help with brain functioning.
So although it might not show up in a naturopathic book as being a Nootropic, I am considering it that.
Those 2 things are huge in my book.
Also, the higher amounts of choline should make for some lucidity in dreaming.
I know there are kinda "inconclusive" evidence for its abillity to help other disorders from anxiety to sperm count "had to put that in there, haha" to tardive dyskinesia

All in all, I think it is the better choice out of the two.
I will try it, and let everyone know how it works.

Kava Curious
I use sunflower lecithin all the time when I make kava. Seems to work just as well as soy lecithin (and I feel it is healthier).
