I have struggled long and mightily against anxiety and tension. Kava rescued me yet again today. I won’t say I’m 100% back to normal, but the thought of packing my kids for their weekend trip is no longer filling me with existential dread.

I really thought today would be the day I waved the white flag and asked the doc for Valium. Not today, says pouni ono. Not. today.

I have a fair bit to stress about too lately. I'm about to ask my good friend Nene to help me onto my mental feet momentarily.

I take my aluball and kava with me on vacation trips with the family. I have it first thing in the am instead of coffee and the "little things" that can annoy or stress you out become meaningless. I won't travel without it! The effect lasts all day.
