I had noticed when I made trad prep using my Nut Milk Bag, it had a very bitter taste to it, beginning a while ago, and continuing at each batch thereafter.
I tried all kinds of corrections and eliminations. But nothing worked and couldn't figure out the cause. So the bitter taste continued after each prep.
I thought, maybe it's time for a new strainer bag, even though i wash it after each use, by boiling it, and soaking in vinegar and baking soda.
But maybe after a few years and about a hundred or so batches, it had had enough, and there was no sufficient cleansing that could be done at that point.
So I finally replaced it, and the bitter taste is gone !
Anyone have a similar experience ?
