What's the Difference

What's the big difference between the micronized and the instant? I read about them ~ micro sounds like instant to me...

Micronized kava is simply roots that are ground up very finely. Instant kava is where kava is prepared traditionally and then dehydrated.

You can prepare them the same way, by simply mixing with water and drinking without kneading, but micronized is a very finely ground root powder while instant is previously prepared, fresh kneaded kava that has the water dehydrated to leave only the kava particles behind.

ghk's micronized also removes the less desirable parts of the root before they micronize, which is good, but not necessarily true of other companies micronized powder.

They are both similar in strength, so micro is technically the better deal. But if you have the extra money, instant is the 'lighter' and 'cleaner' feeling experience.
