The Hawaiians never forgave you for the medal. Hopefully @Gourmet Hawaiian Kava can give us an explanation. Maybe there are custom charges or something.

I an not sure about the tax in Canada but on my website I have a price for the USA and for outside USA, the outside USA price is purely for the shipping cost, it is too much for me to absorb, so if I want to continue to sell kava outside USA then I need to charge for the shipping.
To give you an idea of the difference in cost, in the USA it cost me $5.25 to send a priority mail envelope, for outside USA the same thing will cost me $23.50. That is the cost of shipping outside USA. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Aloha.
