I suppose in a way you can't blame vendors for selling micro as "instant" because it is just "add, stir, chug" but the difference is like night and day and it does tend to cause confusion.

I had sealed bags labelled as kava on the way out and I did bring them back opened but with just a bit in. The plan was that if questioned I would just act dumb (act dull as they say in Wales).

In the big case if you are taking one. It's very unlikely to be checked that closely going out. It may be checked on the way back though.

I've taken kava from the UK to Gran Canaria many times and never had a problem.
