    Has anyone here tried Rahmedel?

Thanks again! I also hope you do visit some day. My Bali friends usually visit and stay for a week mainly to enjoy the "on the rock" sakau. Enjoy your rahmwanger tonight. As we say here at Roasdi Sakau Marked https://myjadesa.com/pages/roasdi-marked, "enjoy the journey"!

Thank you sincerely Krunkie for the review. Not sure where the gray green look came from as it's usually muddy yummy looking. The rahmedel and rahmwanger are best served when mixed with the hibiscus slime. When the sakau juice and the hibiscus slime are well mixed together, a chemical reaction...

    Powdered Kava Rahmwanger

Pohnpei has two varieties of sakau (Piper methysticum), Rahmedel and Rahmwanger. Unlike other countries or islands that grow a great variety of sakau (kava), Pohnpei’s two varieties are both suitable for consumption. If you like the Pohnpei Pepper better than all the other peppers in the market...

    Has anyone here tried Rahmedel?

Malahd stems are the same as rahmedel and rahmwanger. Haven't the chance to try it tho. The effect of rahmedel is stronger and it comes quicker than rahmwanger.

    Has anyone here tried Rahmedel?

Minimum cost depends on airport destination. Some local fees apply. Rahmedel is regarded as the sakau drink for the Nahnmwarki (King). It is used in important traditional/cultural events. Farmers report that rahmedel is harder to grow (the plants easily die out). Another rare cultivar is...

    Has anyone here tried Rahmedel?

I have the rahmwanger. The rahmedel is very rare and so most farmers prefer not to sell but I know a few farmers who will, at the right price. I don't remember seeing your email so please resend to [email protected].

Pohnpei's "on the rock" style https://myjadesa.com/pages/roasdi-marked is the best way for these. RAH means BRANCH, MEDEL means smooth, and MWANGER means spotty...:)

    Has anyone here tried Rahmedel?

Yes, I'm the owner. We ship frozen sakau to U.S and it comes in a cooler and takes about 3 days to reach destination (cargo to cargo), still frozen/fresh.

Thank you so much for the info and the pics. More info on sakau can also be found here https://myjadesa.com/products/sakau. You can even buy your powdered sakau right from that page. I’ve tried the powdered rahmwanger variety and it’s very very good. The taste is not as bitter. I’ve been buying...

    Has anyone here tried Rahmedel?

Yes, we can ship our frozen sakau to the U.S. These come in vacuum sealed bags and so the freshness (we do it "on the rock" and wouldn't take our sakau drinks any other way:)) is retained and can stay fresh in the freezer for up to a month or more. Please contact us at [email protected] for...

    Has anyone here tried Rahmedel?

The Rahmedel is available at https://myjadesa.com/products/sakau, direct from Pohnpei. The Rahmedel is more valuable as it is regarded as such by the Pohnpeians and due to its kavalactone properties and the fact that it is the preferred plant for use in important Pohnpeian traditional...
