News Article Well check: What to know if you're kava curious | The Post

Yeah, that was an odd remark in an otherwise great article. One could just as easily apply the phrase "fiddly and messy" to any method of kava prep. :p

Where to buy noble kava plant

That's a very good question. I don't think I've seen a photo of American Kali-Kava growing in large plantings. Here's their website: https://kalikava.com/

Where to buy noble kava plant

There is an effort to grow "Kali Kava" in Florida right now. It appears that the plants are not noble, but isa. However, the initial effort seems to be moving right along. With thousands planted in the Tampa area, the plants are apparently very flexible on a wide range of temps.

    Green Chile Kava

I've drunk quite a few batches of both Stone and Wow. Chemotypes only take you so far in knowing how a kava will affect you. My wife and I most enjoy cultivars that are balanced. We like an initial euphoric sense that morphs into body relaxation. There are lots of good kava cultivars that work...

    Green Chile Kava

Agreed. Kava is by far better on its own. We had tried green chiles on everything else since moving to New Mexico, so we had to try a one-off with kava. :)

    Green Chile Kava

Also known as New Mexico kava. I used some Wow kava and added green chiles. I should have blended them. As it was, it was the first kava I’ve had to chew. For those of you that like to mask kava’s flavor, this definitely works! All I tasted was the chiles. I’m reminded why I love kava “straight.”

I Love Kava Friday Ahhhhhh, that day.

Since we are becoming New Mexico residents today, Sherri and I are going to imbibe green chile kava. It may be a one time experience. We've already adapted to eating green chiles on almost everything. So...this afternoon we'll reunite two members of the Pepper Family in one gulp. From an...

News Article Pacific's kava interests - The Fiji Times

This professor's point (in the article) was interesting: “They do have the problem of what do you call it, if it’s grown in, say, Florida? Because at the moment you call it kava, and I’m not aware that there’s any other name for it,” Professor Davison says. Different names for the plant...

    Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS)

This is very telling (from Attachment A): "As previously mentioned, the FDA is incorrectly utilizing the term “kava” to conflate extracts with a food product, which needs to be corrected. They cannot launch a review on particular subject and conclude on another one." That last sentence describes...
