Honestly depends on the kind. I've had a fijian kava once that sent me into a panic everytime I drank it, was very weird. If I'm sticking to heavier kava than yes it does work well for keeping my thoughts more zen.

Never tried Kava Supreme, however I would recommend maybe branching out into solomon cultivars? They are really underappreciated and not as widely talked about. KavaDepot's solomon gold is a really nicely balanced kava with both heady and heavy effects. Very nice upfront headiness and mood lift...

I fully believe this as I've had tongan kava that came in at around 6.5-7% kavalactones and was ten times better than some of the 9-10+% cultivars I've sampled. Really comes down to how you in particular process it.

Hell yeah. My kava collection is super low at the moment, so I only have solomon gold but it is oh-so-good. Looking forward to more sessions with it.

This is some classically great solomon. Very much a mix of body and mind, soothing would be a perfect way to describe it. It hits you with a nice kavain headiness upfront and behind the eyes which then pours down into the muscles and body. Solomon islands kava was the first kava I have ever...

I personally use 4 tablespoons on average. 1 tablespoon definitely is on the lighter side and wouldn't have much of an effect for most people. As long as we are talking about medium grind root powder and not instant.

It's been a while since I've been drinking much kava. I had a wild ride last year with undergoing a lot of opioid abuse which led into a nasty fentanyl habit however I'm more stable now (and sober) and looking to get back into kneading up some root soon. I purchased a pound of the solomon gold...

I've it had fresh frozen before and really enjoyed it. I think I might partake in some tonight actually if it is still in my freezer! When I had it, it was pretty heady with a good mid-range heaviness to it. Balanced I guess, but definitely a heady kick.

I only drink kava at night, so anything goes. Right now my rotation is BKH - FEO FVK - Malo Tonga RoH/N@H - Solomon N@H - Stone PLS - Bir Kar I switch these up randomly depending on mood. Most are balanced/heady.

It is awesome. Great social/session kava without being weak at all. Heady and happy. loving it.
