What's new

A community that other substances just don't have

While reading the thread about the new kava forum, I started thinking about how awesome this community is. I mean really, how many substances have a community built around it where you have vendors talking to customers, asking their advice and even offering to chip in with the new forum like Adil at paradise did. (havnt had the chance to try their products yet ) but that is just so awesome that we have these different vendors on here actually talking to customers and giving advice and sharing the common love we have for kava. And as far as the members here, you guys are all great, this whole forum is great because we are all unique people united by kava and what has resulted is just an incredible and accepting community. Sorry if this doesn't read well, I'm krunk whilst writing this! But anyways, thank you to all the vendors and other members, and Doug who has made this all possible!

The love is appreciated brother. Being here is really important for me personally since I'm a Farmers Market kinda guy, always interacting and getting feedback. If we ever decided to hang out and drink kava, now THAT would be some real interaction.

Maybe a - Hawaii Kava Party 2013?

I remember when I ordered over $600 in one order from Nakamal@Home and they sent me a free "South Pacific Krunk" T-Shirt. I was so happy, I said, "wow, look at what my drug dealer sent me!"

I make it a rule to (almost) never post anything to the forum until I've had a shell, in order to "get into character," so to speak.

There does seem to be a real sense of community and fellowship between the vendors and the customers, with exceptions that have been noteworthy.

On the other hand, we have a forum built on the principles of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect.  We see our greatest dangers as being Ravers coming on here and talking about all their silly Rave drugs.  Not that we really have to worry, since kava and and loud music/flashing lights really don't work well together.  Still, the "irony" light on my router is a slow blinking periwinkle.

I know of a forum where this happens, BUT they heavily censor criticism. Unfavorable posts just disappear. So far, I've seen some critical posts in this forum, and comparisons of products from different vendors. I hope this continues.
Of course I will be sampling products from different vendors for myself, regardless.
I offer to make the great sacrifice of ingesting a wide variety of kava and fresh kava products! (Wink02)

yes it is nice to have this forum to look at...as an example, i just placed an order for 2lb rex fiji and tonga, but made sure to read the reviews first. I've done the same with Paradise and Bula.

Sure, this stuff can make you wobble, but i find i'm more responsible now that i'm using kava regularly, rather than some of the other crap that made it's way into my life. Even getting heavily krunked at night, i'm still able to make it to work the next day and function fine.

It's almost a miracle (just as long as it's not doing any inner damage, of which I haven't gotten tested yet...).

sentienentity, I think a lot of us post primarily under the influence of kava. Mellow and friendly are the names of the game.

Thus why I haven't been around much lately. I took a little break from kava for about a month, I do this every few months, but I just ordered pounds, so I shall be here more often

:3

But yes, I agree with the OP. I'm on a lot of other forums, none that I enjoy quite as much as this one.
