alkaline water to mix kava?

I'm curious does anyone have an alkaline water system like kangen where you can dial the ph level?I remember seeing a demo where the higher ph water was able to infiltrate food or objects easier. It showed a bag of tea with tap water and a bag with their alkaline water and the alkaline one extract the tea really quickly with room temp water.it was interesting, i'm curious if it could extract kava the same way
