Hello everyone! My name is spacegirlelt and I have been looking into trying kava to lower anxiety and overall stress. I used to be on meds and I've been off of them for a little over a year now and I do get anxious and depressed every now and again. I don't like medications because they made me feel sour. I used to try to Yogi Kava tea but it never worked, so I stopped using it. Now, I have read that using boiling water on the kava can in fact get rid of the main components of it altogether. I bought a new batch of Yogi kava tea but now I'm looking to prepare it differently and with using much cooler water. Where do I begin? I don't really know how to prepare kava and I just want to use this to unwind my mind and feel happy after a day of stress. Any advice?
