When I first got the Aluball, I'd open up the ball after preparation and just find the soggy makas.
Now, when I use it, and open the ball, it's filled with liquid. This complicates matters when I try to empty the makas,
to save for later use, because I don't want a liquid mess.
I don't know if it's coincidence, but it seemed to start happening after I started using coconut milk in the container.
The most logical cause is that the screens in the ball got gummed up after a while of use. However after each use,
I make sure to rinse out the ball very thoroughly and there is absolutely no visible residue of anything clogging the screens,
to maybe cause the liquid to stay trapped in there during and after each use.
So, what could be the cause then ?

It happens sometimes but usually is avoided by shaking the bottle and balls after you pour the kava, to shake out more moisture. Usually shake pour shake pour for 5 or 6 iterations will do the trick. The goal is a slightly moist lump, but sometimes you just get liquids slop. If you just pour it in the freezer container with the rest of the makas it will be fine and thaw out fine with the rest.
