Angry dreams

This is the second time that this has happened to me, I had incredibly angry dreams where I was pissed off at everybody yelling at them, then I wake up in the worst mood ever. I normally am a very peaceful guy and I was in a great mood when i went to sleep. Anybody else have this happen? Last night it was a combo of melo melo and kauai fijian. Melo melo had made me melancholy before, maybe it messes with my emotions.
Took some tongan pride when i woke up, that always puts me in a happy mood and is working out to be a great daytime kava. gives me crazy energy too

I've been reading about the psychoanalysis of dreams lately, and it seems like (at least this is usually true for me) that things I suppress in a conscious state try to fix themselves in the dream state. There's a great book called "dreams" which is just a bunch of essays by C.G. Jung. If this was kava related though, that would be really fascinating and worth looking into... Hmmmm maybe I'll have to order to melo and run some experiments on neighborhood children...

yeah, this seemed like it was purely kava related, or at least the kava made it worse. I literally woke up feeling like i had to yell at someone. It is really interesting how kava can effect dreams. I posted last week that kava kauai vanuatu gave me lucid dreams 3 days in a row. I feels like it somehow disturbs normal dream patterns. This only happens to me with certain kavas though

I don't specifically remember kava giving me any angry dreams, but, it does usually make me have longer & more dramatic/intense dreams. I'm not sure if kava actually induces these more vivid dreams or if it just helps you remember the dreams you would have anyway.       ...my dreams are rarely pleasant to start with, but, they seem to only really stick with me a few times a year. When i start drinking kava, my dream duration, intensity and memory tends to increase.

kava always gives me effed up dreams. It obviously increases REM sleep, which isn't actually desirable at all. I love kava, but the side effects for me are bad dreams, lack of motivation at times and if I overdo it depression.

However, Kava lets me live my life like nothing else, Just a small dose nightly and my anxiety is kept under control.

I've never noticed bad dreams from kava (or any change in dreams for that fact), but I tend not to remember dreams often.

I find it varies. It comes in chunks of different kinds of sleep. When I first started it was great sleep, good dreams and better memory of them. Then I had great sleep, progressively stranger dreams and no memory gain. Taking a break from Kava resets the course if I feel it's going in a bad direction.

One thing is for sure, Kava gives me weird good dreams.

Has anyone tried a dream journal? I know a couple people who have done it, and they say they remember their progressively better. Sometimes to the point of remembering 3-4 dreams a night. I tried it once but didn't get real into it.

I tried that. It was difficult to have the energy to sit down and write up a dream log at 5am when I wake up still krunked out and mad that I have to go to work. lol. One of these days I'll pick it up again.

Relevant to the OP - Personally kava sedates me too much, I rarely have dreams that I remember when I go to bed krunked. However when I do dream on kava, I dream hard and eratically. All of the krunked dreams that I can remember have been far fetched and ridiculous in nature. Exaggerated emotions, colors, sensations. Everything is just so far out there. I could definitely picture an angry dream on kava.
