What's new

anyone ever had kava from this seller...

Hey,

I'm awaiting my package of a half pound of root powder from these people http://www.irishnature.com/

The website looks decent enough and they claim to have some of the most potent stuff available. Its organic Hawaiian grown. Looking forward to getting and trying it. I originally came across the supplier when searching for kava supplier Ireland (as I live in Ireland) and their name came up and caught my attention. Anyway couldn't find any info on the forum re this supplier so would be interested to hear if anyone has any knowledge or experience with them.

Cheers guys.

Looks like they're based in Hawaii, but the owner has an Irish name (Patrick Walsh)? Their root powder is VERY expensive at $45 for 1/2 pound, it really ought to be very very good stuff to justify that price. You'd be better off buying from one of the well known providers, whom all seem to be cheaper than this place are known to be good quality.

I'm in Ireland too and have bought stuff from Bulakavahouse, Kavabyrex, Ozia, and Kavakauai without problems. There is also a new Irish vendor (globalkavaexports) who is about to launch shortly, any day I think, can't wait to see what his stuff is like :)

Hey Midas,

You are right it is very expensive. unfortunately I only found this forum recently and all the great info on suppliers and I am still only a few months into my kava appreciation. I really hope that the kava is somewhat worth its price. I am also looking forward to seeing global kava exports up and running. Met kavakola last week when he dropped me up some kola, sound guy.

Cheers Midas.

Hi kavapaul. Funny but you're the 4th Irish person I've found on here which is kind of odd for sure a small community.
Yea, I made an order I wish I hadn't, before I found this forum and got pointed in the right direction. That's not to say that your stuff won't be good, it might be, do let us know what it's like :) Looks like the kavacola guy's website is gone live too, I just need to decide what to get now!

Hey,

I just wanted to write this to let people know not to ever buy from Irishnature.com

As you can see from the date of this thread it is over a month since I ordered and payed for this overly expensive kava. after initial correspondence with Patrick Walsh, the owner, whereby I asked was there a delay as I had been waiting a long time with no sign of delivery. He said he was sorry and would send a replacement out straight away. So I was to assume the first package was lost. Having still not received my package I emailed again last week and asked for tracking info as promised on website. I got some reply that I could barely understand as if English was not his first language although this is surprising. My request for tracking info was ignored. I have since filled out a refund request on their website which is apparently guaranteed in certain circumstances, not receiving a package being one of them. This, along with a couple of strong worded follow up emails to Patrick have all been ignored. Anyway, excuse the rant but I just want to get my experience out there so no one goes near these clowns. as of now I have little comeback while being ignored and considered my self robbed of $65.

I don't feel so stressed out about the potential monetary loss as of right now though as I have just finished my third shell of tasty fu'u.

That really sucks Kavapaul. You won't get any of that nonsense from the vendors here and most of the time for less than $65 unless you want something extra face...

Like fresh frozen kava overnight delivery! *poke nudge poke* you know you wanna....(smiley: wink)
