I'm not familiar either, but while the ultra fine grind might make it mix better with water, its still generally a good idea to use traditional prep so you don't end up with root pulp causing stomach/nausea issues and other stuff like that. If you don't wanna do that, I would suggest getting a real instant.

And if you do decide you want to just mix and drink regular kava, you can get it cheaper from KBR or Bula Kava House (I believe they've settled on a fine grind, although I have not ordered from them recently).

Kavadude- Grind is coarser now. Somewhere between the original grind and the almost micronized version. Wouldn't make a good toss 'n wash. Actually, Fu'u is still quite fine but that's the only one.
