Best Kava for Euphoria feeling

I'm pretty glad I found this community of kava enthusiasts, honest reviews and great advice is a big plus for someone somewhat new to the game. It even saved me from buying that Hawiian Kona Kava which I've heard is trash.
Anyway, my question for the community is, "In your experience what kava has given you the largest euphoric feeling, or in other words, which kava that you have tried is most similar to a cannabis high?" Obviously it's a different type of high or "krunkness" with kava, but which one do you think is most similar in terms of effects? I just ordered some Wow! and I'm pretty excited to try it out. I'm trying to move from cannabis to kava, but I still would like that same kind of high feeling.
Take care

Let me start out by saying that Kava is NOTHING like MJ , so its going to be hard for you to properly judge it. If you are expecting it to be like weed.

For a Euphoria feeling I suggest Fu'u from BKH it pretty awsome stuff. Mix it with a little V3 from KBR and I think thats a pretty strong mix for Kavian.

Good luck:)

For the euphoria, I like V3 from KBR, but I haven't tried Fu'u, so I couldn't comment on that.

White Sand or Black Sand (or other fine-grine Borogo kava), brewed strong, and then add a teaspoon of Shaman to the shell. After five shells, you will be in utter euphoria.

If you can find whatever the fuck they were growing in the Solomon Islands before Nakamal@Home stopped importing, well, it's too strong for me, but you might like it.

I personally thought Stone provided a large euphoric feeling. I find it to be a very situational kava, in that if I drink it at a party, it will be similar to the effects of alcohol. However, if I drink while just chilling with some people, it will produce a near MJ sensation. In both scenarios, I find Stone to put me in a very uplifting and euphoric mood. It was strong enough to even make my speech slightly impaired. I used 1/2 cup root, 2 cups of water, and 1 cup of milk. I blended it on high for five minutes. Strained it, then blended it again for another minute. I then chill it, and down 2 shells of it, which is definitely going to produce a euphoric effect. Highly recommend the Stone! In fact, I just bought another bag!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Mo'i.  It just goes to show how kava affects each person so differently.  The dark hawaiian roots give me the most "everything is peachy with the world" euphoria that completely eliminates stress and anxiety.  Makes a grin creep up on you and plaster itself to your face.  Mo'i is my favorite for the euphoric buzz.

I can't remember if I've ever had Mo'i Jerome... I know you've said that stuff if some of your favorite... I may have to get some along with some of the new Chief's when I run out of kava. I'll let you know how I like it :)

I'll be honest with you, I thought Kava was a load of "vitamin nonsense"....until today.
I had a bottle of those Gaia Kava Root capsules. (Kava Kava root (Piper methysticum + ... 409 mg; Total Kavalactones (from Kava Kava) ... 225 mg). I had taken one or two on several occasions, sometimes perhaps three, and nothing had ever "happened." I kept taking them now and again, two or three, and the bottle was near empty. I'd kind of given up on them a few months ago, and left the bottle sitting there on top of my microwave.
Anyway, this morning I got up. I put on the coffee, and I was kind of tidying my kitchen. I took my normal morning multivitamin, and was starting to eat my oatmeal. I noticed the Kava capsules again, and looked in the bottle: 8 left. I thought, "Well, they do nothing to me anyway, and seem to have no effect...." So, I took all eight of them. Bear in mind, this was on an empty stomach. I was also drinking coffee, which I've found can act as an accelerant for certain things. I sat down at my computer, and joined my morning office conference call.
THEN...about 15 minutes later...it hit me...BIG TIME!
I have to say, it was nice and calming. Almost euphoric too. A little bit like the nice side of alcohol. It was hitting me so hard though, I could barely speak! I was afraid to talk to my colleagues on the phone because I was worried I would slur my words. Also, my lips were pretty numb. The super-strong effects wore off after about half-an-hour. Then it gradually dissipated over maybe another half-hour to an hour.
I guess it's not B.S.! You just need to take enough!
Any comments?

Politely, I somewhat take issue of using/viewing kava as a "euphoric" which to me is the wrong approach to kava. Kava to me is basically what its been to natives from hawaii to vanuatu - a social enhancer/relaxer. Euphoric brings to my mind a narcotic "drug-head" conotation which is basically overdosing what should be wonderful thing. I use kava to relax my hyper-active mind and slow things down so I can chronologically process them before becoming overloaded, confused & agitated. But I don't use so much I'm sitting down giggling to myself like a 13yr old's first post 6 pack drunk. Knowing when to say when is the same w/ kava as it is w/ booze. I can maintain an all day relaxation on as little as (3 caps) of fairly weak AMERICAN NATURAL - Kava Kava which is far from "euphoric" but definitely not my usual edgy disposition.

I think the key thing in your experience is "on an empty stomach".  Whether in a drink or cap form its best IMO to not mix it w/ anything.

I suppose that depends on what comes to your mind when you say something is euphoric.
The pill caps have done nothing for me personally but a fairly low dose of kava, say 12 ounces (2 tbsp kava per 4 ounces water) in totality, is 'euphoric' for me. Not intoxicating, either. Start with a half shell. It begins with a slowly, oncoming ease of anxiety and soothing of muscles I use to help study, or read, or listen to music. Down another half shell, increase that effect to a nice care-free state. Finish off with yet another half shell, so about 12 ounces of kava, and that's when I start to call it euphoric. I'm elated, I want to discuss and ramble and just feel like this forever. A sense of unique giddy-ness. It's absolute joy that I can exist at the very moment without my terribly common anxiety and grudge-state almost depression you so commonly find with us students. lol, and that's actually on par with or somewhat less than the amount of kava you'll find being consumed in vanuatu, fiji, or hawaii! I don't think there is anything wrong with calling kava euphoric, unless of course you want to get flat out wasted, then kava is not for you. Maybe that is what the author meant (smiley: laugh) lol I don't know, but at least, that's not what comes to my mind when I describe kava as euphoric.

Fu'u definitely produced a heady, floaty kind of high feeling, and works really fast. Borogu doesn't make me feel as "high," but REALLY enhances my mood. They're nice together.

I've had good experiences from Fu'u and Solomen Islands. I've gotten pretty warped of tudei and boroguro but don't find them to especially euphoric but very heavy on the body and sedative. I just went to KBR hoping their tudei was in and saw V3 in stock so I ordered up a pound and am excited to see how it compares to Fu'u.

Its not bad. Pretty good and high in the Kavian.

I havent yet mixed just Fu'u and V3, until now. Im making some up tonight to drink Tuesday, I'll let you know how that mix goes.

But all in all, the V3's pretty relaxing and gigly
