So last night I boiled my kava before kneading it and then let it sit in the fridge overnight. I woke up this morning and noticed there was absolutely no sediment on the bottom of the glass and the top 1/4inch was all oil. I would assume there was no sediment due to the fact that boiled kava turns into a gum-like substance, making it much harder for pieces of the root to pass through my kava bag. Has anyone else had this same experience? Wondering if boiling it is a viable way to reduce next day nausea by reducing the amount of sediment you ingest.
