Kava Lover
Smells like a weak version of other borogurus i have had but does not disappoint! First few nights of drinking this i was just adding to water to get a taste for the kava itself. Very nutty and almost roasted flavor. Reminded me of Hojicha in a way, roasted green tea leaved. Not nearly as strong a flavor but somehow reminded me of that and a peanut mix. All in all it's a pretty smooth drink for something out of Vanuatu, usually those are rougher for me.
i consumed half a tbsp in 4 shells over an hour or so. it hits almost immediately then builds upon itself pretty quickly. This is one of those kavas that feels "tiered" in its effect, for me. First there is mild mental relaxation, the "everything is ok" phase. By the next shell or 2 that is replaced by a strong urge to never stand again...and by 4 or 5 shells you begin to question whether your legs are really necessary. I tried to push through and stay awake for a while but it was really tough. So went to bed and was lights out in minutes.
all in all, great flavor and physical effect. Mild mental effects as well but seemed to be overtaken by the physical.
