Bula Relaxation Drink

Has anyone tried these kava relaxation drinks like Bula?  http://bulabeverage.com/  It was started by an NFL player from Tonga.  
These drinks make me nervous.  All the fragile image of kava needs is some teenager drinking a dozen cans and getting sick, then mom and dad crying on network TV followed by politicians banning a "dangerous" drink.  Four Loko anyone?

Hmm, I have not tried Bula. Personally, it just seems like another "Americanized" traditional substance that may have the opportunity to obtain a negative image/stigma by someone driving after drinking around 6, or some other stuff like that. However, maybe it's alright! Haha once they have singles or 6 packs available I may do a little test.

Bula is great! I was at Bula Fest on July 4th 2011 and got to meet some of the team behind Bula. Great people with great intentions. http://youtu.be/qZ1IAka_h28 I think the drink is just as safe as a pepsi...drinking a dozen of those would probably do more damage then a donzen Bulas. A dozen Bulas would probably only equal 1 cup of kava. Anyways, defiantly a little risk factor there (as with everything) but beautiful to see Polynesians representing their "roots" . Their are a couple other kava based relaxation drinks on the rise (malava, marley mellow...) but these drinks are not from the Islands. Proud to see our local brothers jump in instead of stand by. BULA!!
