there's a pdf link I posted somewhere in this forum that contained a nutrient breakdown. I think the thread had to do with sugars. Let me know if you can't find it.
Thanks, but the pdf only included nutrient info at the plant level. I'm looking for carbs per serving like this: http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/nutrition-calories/food/kava-king/kava-kava/
I am not sure if the above is something I can go off of as I know kava has carbs and I don't know if kava king is representative of dried roots like Solomon or Wow!.
I can't be the only person that's ever tried to keep kava in their low carb diet???
While I can't tell you how many carbs are in a serving of kava I can say that I used kava as a part of my low carb diet for the past three years. Kava helps reduce my appetite making it a whole lot easier not to over eat.
kava is also helpful in facilitating your body's relaxation response. If that doesn't happen and you are a stress junkie as many people are - cortisol could make your weight loss struggle a lot more challenging. http://stress.about.com/od/stresshealth/a/cortisol.htm
