I've been getting some chest pains after a couple of shells. Anyone had that experience before? I've been using Kava off and on for a few years but perhaps it's this new one that doesn't agree with me (Fijian Waka, Wakacon).
Should definitely seek professional advice when it comes to chest pains, just to be on the safest side. I've never experienced this before however I do know kava seems to slow my breathing and cause my heart to pump faster and heavier when I'm krunked. This could, I'm guessing, cause any pre-exisisting issues to be more noticeable.
To take a non-alarmist point of view, I would suggest perhaps this is a heartburn issue. To be on the safe side, you can avoid kava for 20 days, and during that period take one gram of D-Limonene every other day.
Was going to say about gas but wanted to be sure you were safe from a heart issue. I take gasx, an over the counter thing and the chest pain goes away.
Another vote for possible acid reflux - however if antacid doesn't help you have to make sure you put your health first until you know what the issue is.
My apologies if my response seemed alarmist. My family has a history of heart problems/failure so I tend to urge people to not **** around when it comes to chest pains. lol.
My dial-a-nurse line is basically, "go to an emergency room, right now." My life experience tells me that most of the time aches and pains are survivable.
