Just out of curiosity, if someone were to start selling customizable kava shells, do you think those would sell? Like you could choose exactly how many ounces it could hold and what not.

Depends. What kind of price range did you have in mind? At a certain price point I think it starts to become a tad ridiculousness. There is nothing wrong with a custom shell. I think it's a neat idea but I can't see myself throwing down $45-$50 for a custom kava shell unless it was something real special.

That's difficult to say. It depends on the materials, how you're going to work the material, equipment costs and time invested.
I think the very highest I'd go would be $30 flat and that's for something pretty nice. Sure some people will pay more for premium stuff. Like this for example...

It wouldn't be that nice, just customizable, perhaps engraving. All natural materials, coconut of course. Polished with all natural materials as well. And a flat bottom of course so it's stands alone
