Obviously, the cyclone is now much weaker than when it hit Vanuatu, but it can still cause quite a lot of damage. I was in Hawke's Bay today and my local friends seemed quite concerned about the whole thing. Many tourists have canceled their bookings, events have been cancelled etc. Let's hope the whole thing will be weakened by the coldness of NZ waters..
