Disease problems are back!

So after a great rainy season my plant have fallen to a terrible leaf disease once more. Much worse than before.

The plants actually sprouted so many shoots and the leaves all looked black so I just buried them all with compost.tue goat has taken a few big stalks off also and I have airlayed a couple to progergate.

How to stop this dress blackened leaves that won't grow big?

To me this looks like 1. slugs eating holes in leaves and 2. a sucking insect like aphid or thrips making leaves crinkle and causing those tiny brown dots.
I do not think this is Phoma spots . All can be remedied (including if Phoma) with a light spray of wettable powder sulphur. Cool of the day best.
