The diuretic effect of plants is always enhanced by the consumption of it cold. Causing the body to favor release through the kidneys.
A few plants extracted cold however seem to grant an even further exaggeration to this effect.
Cold extracted kava has a more powerful diuretic action than kava that was prepared hot. Mixed with its already more heady composition . Cold extracted kava can resemble a strong stimulant in the midst of extremely cold extracted kava especially if consumed with caffeine another diuretic stimulant.
My point is kava is different when you use hot or cold.
Hot is heavier
Cold is header.
Even to the other systems of the body not just psychoactivley! It seems the cold extracts more active diuretic effects.
Take note of this if your particularly sensitive to diuretics or are already dried out from to much kava. A warmer extract might be a better option !
