Like with alcohol generally the more you take the more dis inhibited you get. If you get "krunk" would that provide more anxiety relief than say just drinking one shell?
It was my birthday weekend and I have been going all out. Pretty much been a session every hour all day. There seems to be a point of diminished returns. II don't think I have gotten krunk by any means. Not like is used to at Nakava in Boca. I'm pretty sure my prep is on point. My only thought is that I weighed a ton less back then. I just can't seem to reach that level no matter how much I drink.
There certainly is a sweet spot, and that sweet spot varies with each type of root along with other variables like what time of day it is. Also set n' setting. The longer I drink kava, the more I realise less is more... Unless my boss is force feeding me kava. He's a hardhead and I no longer tend to push it...
Pushing the envelope and blowing chunks tends to make you respect the root rather quickly.
I don't think you need much root for anxiety, especially with daily use. I do a half shell, 4 ounces for breakfast every morning and it rides me right through the work day. When I get home I like to have normal sized shells . About an hour before bed I do another half shell. Seems to keep it in my system for anxiety purposes.
