One thing not specific to kava but any stimulus I haven't read here yet is the physiologic fact there exists what's usually called a dose response, meaning the degree of response derived from one type of stimulus (kava in this example) is going to vary (sometimes widely) from one individual to another despite each receiving the exact same dosage. This would explain (not totally) how I could get a 12-24 hour response from a dosage (kava) whereas another individual (even a smaller/lighter person) would exhibit a much smaller response which might only last 2 hours. As I posted elsewhere I'm currently using a very generic, comparitively weak type of kava from American Natural which compared to an independent hawaiian or fijian grower undoubtedly contains a much lower kavalactone per mg conent so its no guess what I will get out my Maui Medicinals once they arrive.
Any thoughts?
