Drinking Kava during Juice Fast?

I am planning a juice fast soon (all veggies, no fruit...).  I'm going to start with 3 days, and go from there.  Then try to lengthen it out later.  Maybe try to do it once every couple months.

I've been juicing now 2x a day for a couple months and am enjoying it.

Would drinking Kava be wise during a juice fast, or would it technically "end" the juice fast?  I'm thinking if I was wound up thinking about food it may help calm me.

I think it will definitely help you with any nerves. It's a heavy diuretic so if a cleanse is what you're looking for kava will help. Just stay hydrated. Technically traditional kava is a juice on its own. It will probably hit you like a fright train on a liquid diet.

I've done juice fasts in the past exactly as you are describing, but not since I discovered kava. Once the weather gets warm enough to hit some farmer's markets I'm going to do another one, and I will absolutely be drinking kava during. Kava kills my appetite, so it will be a godsend.

I've not had any ill effects from kava though. If I were experiencing the "kava allergy" thing, or felt like I had been overdoing it then I would hold on the kava too.

be careful and stay hydrated man. I recommend you look up juice fasting on youtube.

From what I've heard, it can actually age your body. If you go from regularly eating meat to strait fruits and veggies,

it actually ends up aging your body a bit faster than had you just stuck with what you were doing.

But at the same time, it is better for you in the long run. (whole foods diet) So good luck and do it right! I'm sure you will.

Just making sure. Learn everything you can about it 1st.
