Finding the Right Kava Strain

Hello, I am fairly new to kava; however, I have tried WOW, Stone, and Kona Kava's powder.  WOW was really nice, but it's too expensive to make it a regular kava for me. I was really excited about Stone, but I tried it and it was enjoyable, but it affected me in negative ways emotionally.. kinda hard to explain..
In short, I'm looking for an effective, balanced, weekday kava that perhaps can help me read, write or meditate. I want something dreamy and relaxing, but I don't want to feel it too much the next day. I know kava effects everyone differently, and it's not easy finding the perfect kava, but if anyone has any suggestions for me they would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! (smiley: happy)

Hit Bula House Kava and Kava by Rex.

I can't recommend a kava that fits what you're looking for unfortunately. I've tried Boroguru from BKH and Isa from Kava by Rex. Both are good. Boroguru is my favorite of the two. The Isa from Kava by Rex is more medicinal to me. Good for killing minor pain, don't know if you would call it "dreamy" though.

Hey there. Welcome to the world of kava. We sell four different types of kava at store.bulakavahouse.com, all of which are awesome. My personal favorite is Melo Melo, which is a noble kava from Vanuatu. It's mild enough for everyday drinking, yet its calming effects are very effective. It honestly sounds like your kind of kava. Plus it's only $54/kilo (2.2 lbs.)! Feel free to drop me a line if you have any more questions.
