First Time on Kava - Mixed Feelings

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and Kava itself. Just drank my first batch of STONE kava, and just want to share my thoughts on it with you.
After first glass, I was like: this might be placebo that I'm feeling. So i drank a cup more 20 minutes after.
After second glass I felt a bit more, but not to much, so I drank one more. Also 20-30 minutes after.
After the 3rd glass I'm in my present condition. On the upside, I can DEFINATELY feel the Kava. I don't really know how I like it this far. I feel a bit dizzy, a bit tired, a bit relaxed, but also a bit uncomfortable with a ulming beating heart, and slight anxiety.
You think I drank to quick? Or do you think Stone is not the best grain for me?
It needs to be told, that I was in a bad mood before I drank it. But I thought that kava was for that.
Anyways, it got a bit messed, just wanted to share my thoughts. I still have faith in Kava, since i first doubted if it would work at all. At the bottom line, I can say that it definately does!

Kava for a "bad mood"? Yeah...I guess. That's a tad simplistic but it fits in there.

Stone is a pretty heavy handed kava. It's not a kava I see being recommended to people that are new to the drink. There are many different strains of kava and each can do different things for you. It really depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for a kava to lift your mood Stone probably isn't the optimal choice.

From my own experience I'd try a Hawaiian variety or something like Boroguru from Bula House Kava. Kava from Vanuatu, specifically borogu (different from boroguru) represents a balanced ideal that would be a good starting point before getting into things like Stone and odd balls like Solomon Island (if you can get it) or Tongan.

I've noted a "jittery" unsettled feeling when drinking Stone. It's very weird to have that anxious feeling while your body is so laid out. I thought it was just me, or the fact that I tend not to eat for extended periods when I drink it. I haven't really decided why it does that yet, but you might try another kava and see how that works for you.

I've found that drinking it slower makes it better for me. But I'm definately going to try another grain, probably a hawaian. And probably the one from Paradise :)
