Paved roads and a new airport will soon make Port Resolution much more accessible. Hopefully every project that arises to support the increased tourism will be as considerate as the one in this video is claiming to be. Preserving the local culture and leaving them in control of it. Wouldn't want to see Port Res get crowded with fat white tourists sucking on umbrella cocktails all day, expecting to be treated like royalty while drunk party girls dance to house music on the beach all night.

Eldest tiny spawn is on spring break from preschool. Just got him a special needs safety harness in from Canada and omg, our lives are going to be so much less isolated now!

Also maybe at these special needs gear stores, they should also sell kava for the parents? Bc my Squanch waka is in too and that's just lovely timing.

The pessimist in me says that a Port Resolution airport will just make Lenakel jealous.

But in all seriousness, Tanna could use a second airport. It's a good project and I hope it succeeds.

Finally went to the Mystic Water Kava Bar that opened in Huntington Beach.

Cool location, but it's got more of a hippy, Buddhist, psychedelia decor vibe going on. $6.50 for a low-tide in an already small shell. Probably won't go back, personally.
