Hi everyone, the hurricane has passed the Big Island and is going to Oahu now. The problem is that we got sooooo much rain and flooding that the post offices are closed. There are some orders that will be delayed. I will get them out as soon as the post office reopens.
Thankfully we had no damage or flooding here at home. A lot of water but no real flooding on my property and thankfully no high winds. Aloha nui loa.

Good to hear you're in one piece. Between rivers of liquid rock and hurricanes, you guys in the pacific look like you need a break.

There is a reason to sell on Amazon. Among others, like any of us getting awa in 2 days flat.

Glad to hear you're safe.
There are days like these when I would agree with you and pay a couple extra bucks for GHK 'awa which has been in an Amazon warehouse for a little while, however I appreciate being able to get it a little fresher directly from Chris. I get frustrated too at times when I don't keep a good amount of 'awa on hand to cover the extra time it can take to get.

I am concerned that while a GHK Amazon store source might be convenient, the extra business might overwhelm GHK making it harder to get their rare strains which we enjoy. It's already hard to anticipate and buy ahead before strains go out of stock. If GHK is able to use the extra revenue to get more land and employ more people the problem would balance itself out but land and labor isn't cheap on Hawaii. GHK is indeed Gourmet Hawaiian Kava and while there may be a way to upscale acreage and production, I would not want anything to jeopardize the quantity and availability of their fine 'awa strains.

Sorry to hear about the bad weather up there, Chris.
Kava farmers out here are hurting badly from a drought. I've already had significant losses on my fledgling farm.

So yeah.... feel free to send some of that rain in the general direction of Fiji :)

I wish I could send some rain your way. We had over 46 inches of rain in less than 2 days. Here is another video that shows some of the major flooding.
Aloha.
