Hello, and making Wow! last

So a month or two ago I bought my first bag of Wow! and went through it dismayingly fast.  I just got my second shipment of Wow! recently, and have been thinking more about blends (not to mention expense).   Do you folks have any other varieties you like to mix with Wow!?   Or is it something best savored by itself?

Greetings from Texas, by the way.  I've drunk Kava casually over the last seven or eight years or so but only in the last two have I gotten my Kava game a bit more sorted out, and started paying proper respect to variety, preparation, etc.  The intelligent and clear-headed responses on this board are much appreciated.

I've never tried wow... NKH is so expensive, and there are much cheaper kavas that are really good also, like bula kava's house's fu'u and Kava by rex's fiji waka. you get a pound from kava by rex for around 20 dollars.



however.. i would suggest mixing a light tasting kava with wow so you don't throw off the taste balance... fu'u from bula kava house is the lightest tasting kava i've ever tried.



and yes, i'm glad there's not a bunch of immature brats on here like another forum i used to visit (thought it was not a kava forum)



i kinda wish there was a page for just general discussion (non kava related) on here because i value the opinion of people on here more than most sites

One think that I have noticed about N@H is that their kava tastes SUPER STRONG. The effects are always very noticeable, but I can't figure out why the taste is the way it is. I also don't like WOW! kava too much in effect. For me (and everyone is different) it is a sleepy kava without much pleasant feeling accompanying it. I agree with starsofclay -- BKH's Fu'u is great, and their boroguru is also great and both of them are relatively easy to drink. KBR's Vanuatu3 and Fiji Waka is also good.

Thanks guys. I actually have a bag of unopened Fu'u at home; not sure why I'm being so conservative about blending except for the relatively high cost of error involved with Wow! I think the advice to mix with another light variety is wise, though - the mild taste of Wow! is part of its appeal, wouldn't care to lose its ease of consumption.

Fiji Waka from kbr mixes -weeeeeelllll- with Wow! kava. So does Hiwa from HKC, talk about a body high with that combo. Haven't tried many combos with Wow! but I'd imagine it would mix best with kavain rich varieties.

SWIM's dog cooked a batch of meth and did CWE extraction on some Tylenol 3's and chugged a whole bottle of DXM.  LOL  Yeah, not really the type of thing I'm looking for.  Some of the psychedelic discussions were cool, though.  "Is non-existence an impossibility?"  I used to go to drumming circles and that was pretty cool.   "All my friends are Indians.  All my friends are brown and red Spoonman..."  A couple job searches ago one of my criteria was a good drumming circle nearby.  Western Mass is the place that I lived that I enjoyed the most, but couldn't find a job there, also Internet access sucks.  I want a place with a fiber drop where I can put up my yurt.  Loved Extreme Homes.  I found this design for self-contained pods with solar power my idea was to put them in a cluster.  I wish I had the resources and the energy to do something completely crazy like that.

doooood you should have had the dog chug four whole bottles hit the fourth plat while battling respiratory depression from mixing those 3's would have been a TRIP

lololol(smiley: roll) yeah I used to be on a few forums like that as well. I would totally vote for a general discussion forum here though, I like this crowd the best.
